Kyiv-based Ukrgasbank has allocated a loan worth EUR 4.6 million for construction of a solar power plant in the town of Kakhovka (Kherson region).
Press service of the financial institution has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The funds were provided to the S.Energy limited liability company, which operates already existing solar power plant in Kherson region.
The funds are allocated for the period of seven years.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the state owns the 94.94-percent stake in Ukrgasbank.
According to the data of the central bank of Ukraine, as at July 1, 2020, the bank occupied the 5th position in terms of the size of its assets (UAH 51.38 billion) among 101 operating Ukrainian commercial banks.
